Description:
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Through the internship, students will have the opportunity to deepen and expand the knowledge and skills acquired through theoretical and practical education acquired in the classical form of teaching. They will be acquainted with work processes in a real work environment that will prepare them for the world of work. For a student, the internship will create an opportunity for networking and a link with a potential future employer.

COURSE CONTENT:
Students will work in their chosen workplace where they will perform tasks assigned by the mentor. Tasks will require the application of knowledge and skills acquired during the courses in the study program.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
After completing the course students should be able to:
1. identify and solve geophysical problems of high complexity,
2. assess the quality of information and data and conduct analysis using appropriate methods and tools,
3. apply statistical and graphical methods in the analysis of a geophysical problem of high complexity and the presentation of its solution,
4. comment on geophysical phenomena and processes in writing and orally,
5. communicate with various interest groups (e.g. professional and non-professional public, media and/or investors),
6. organize the problem solving of a complex work task.

LEARNING MODE:
Work of a total of 120 hours of practice at the employer, and completion of a report and survey upon completion.

METHODS OF MONITORING AND VERIFICATION:
Internship?s work diary, report on professional internship, student evaluation form and mentor evaluation form.

TERMS FOR RECEIVING THE SIGNATURE:
Submitted and accepted: internship?s work diary, report on professional internship, student evaluation form and mentor evaluation form.

EXAMINATION METHODS:
After the duties are duly completed, the students receive a signature without rating.
